The planned move date is still the end of June/beginning of July. We figure that will give us time to settle in and explore our new city - and for family to come and visit if they want to before life gets too far underway!

Destination: Austin!
We found out today that the start date for Charity's new job at Austin Regional Clinic will most likely be in mid-August, rather than in July as we initially planned on. Mostly due to time to get credentialled with the local hospitals and to have verification of education...

We did the same thing when we moved. Ben didn't start work until Sept and we moved the last week in July. It was the best thing to have a month to figure things out and have interrupted time together. Especially after the chaos of finishing school. I'm so excited for you guys!
ReplyDeleteA little vacay time sounds amazing. I think you'll be so happy to have some time with your family and to get settled. Plus you deserve a break after residency! I've never been to Austin, but now I'm going to have to come visit!
